You're welcome to attend an open playwriting workshop by Peter Nachtrieb, The Poetry Center's Mazza Writer in Residence for Fall 2019. Nachtrieb will also be doing a public reading of his play-in-progress, "The Overbooked Hotel Room," along with friends, Monday October 21, 7:00 pm at San Francisco theater venue Z Space.
Supported by the Sam Mazza Foundation, both events are free and open to the public.
Peter Sinn Nachtrieb, 6’6”, is a San Francisco-based playwright whose work has been seen off-Broadway and across the country including at Ars Nova, Woolly Mammoth, SPF, Seattle Repertory, Actors Theatre of Louisville, Southern Rep, Kitchen Dog, and in the Bay Area at Z Space, A.C.T., Encore Theatre, Killing My Lobster, Marin Theatre Company, Impact Theatre, and The Bay Area Playwrights Festival. His newest musical project, Fall Springs (NAMT festival 2017) with composer/lyricist Niko Tsakalakos, opens at Barrington Stage Company in Summer 2019. Peter holds a degree in Theater and Biology from Brown and an MFA in Creative Writing from San Francisco State University. Peter is an alumna of New Dramatists and was the Mellon Playwright in Residence at Z Space in San Francisco 2013-18. More at peternachtrieb.com.
