Because We Come from Eveything: Poetry and Migration

During March 2017 all Poetry Center programs were dedicated to a theme under the sign of a line from US Poet Laureate Juan Felipe Herrera in his poem "Border Bus":

"...We are everything hermana
Because we come from everything"

We shared this theme — Because We Come from Everything: Poetry and Migration — with 30+ organizations across the US engaged in the Poetry Coalition, poetry-presenting organizations coming together to promote the value poets bring to our culture and communities.
